Lonestar - What About Now

Monday, July 2, 2007 - - 0 Comments

The #3 Billboard Country song for 2000 was Lonestar's What About Now. It was Lonestar's 5th #1 Billboard Country song. As of today, the band is splitting up with lead singer Richie MacDonald leaving to pursue a solo career. The split was supposedly not a very smooth one. Also, the rumors are that Josh Gracin will be joining the band as the new lead singer. We'll see.

A little trivia for you: Did you know that John Rich from Big & Rich was the band's bass guitarist? He was from 1995 until 1998. He even co-wrote their #1 song, Come Cryin' to Me. Anyhow, enjoy this #1 hit from 2000 when the boys were still pumping out the hits.
