Brad Paisley's He Didn't Have To Be was his first #1 single, and it was the #13 song for all of 2000 on the ACC Top 40 countdown. The song focuses on a man who marries a single mother and becomes the dad that the child never had. It's a great song and a great story. Brad's been on roll lately.
